Six students from Tezpur town bring laurels

Tezpur, May 31: The people of Tezpur town felt proud as a total of six students from three different schools located in the heart of the town brought glory to their schools as well as to their town by achieving different ranks in the HSLC fil examition (2016), results of which were declared on Tuesday by SEBA.

Brasel Borkakoty of Don Bosco High School secured 14th rank with a total mark 572. Tanma Bordoloi, Kanchan Prajapoti, Raksha Jalan and Salankrita Gogoi of St. Josheph Convent School secured respectively 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th position with total mark 569, 568, 567 and 566. Likewise, Pratiksha Baruah of Sankardeva Sishu Vidya Niketan maged to secure the 20th position with a total mark 566.  

Brasel Borkakoty son of Dr Jiten Borkakoty and Jyotsh Borkakoty, and a resident of Mission Chariali Lachit gar, who secured the 14th position said that he would study in Solmara Army Public School in the science stream. Tanma Bordoloi, daughter of Manik Chandra Bordoloi and Karabi Bora of Barahalia area, said that she would study in Darrang College in commerce stream as she aimed to become a chartered accountant.  Kanchan Prajapoti, daughter of Prahlad Kumar Prajapati and Anju Prajapati of LDS Road (Garwan Patty), said that she would study in Darrang College in science stream and she wanted to study medical science in future.

Raksha Jalan, daughter of Rajesh Jalan and Risha Jalan, said that she would study in Cotton College and her aim was to be an engineer. Salankrita Gogoi, daughter of Girin Kumar Gogoi and Dr. Tutumoni Handique, said that she would study at Salonibari Army Public School in science stream and wanted to become an engineer or a fashion designer.  Pratiksha Baruah, daughter of Prab Kumar Baruah and Dipali Baruah of Uddayan Path near Majgaon, said that she would study in Dibrugarh Salt Brook School and wanted to become a doctor in the future.

At Gohpur Barangabari, Sarmistha Mahanta secured 11th position with a total mark 575 from Morning Star High School while at Biswath Charilali, from Little Star School, Sauvick Bhuyan secured 11th position with total mark 575.
