Skeleton found in Silchar

Silchar, May 29: The finding of a skeleton in a remote forest near the construction site of a large stadium at Gobindapur in Phulertol recently, has sent waves of shock among the people. Upon getting the information, the police rushed to the spot and collected it.

DSP A J Das, S Hanse, officer in-charge of Lakhipur Police Station, P Boungpoi and magistrate ACS Yahadul Islam rushed to the spot. The skeleton has been sent to the forensic experts for sex determition. It will be kept at Silchar Medical College and Hospital for three days, in case anyone responds to a missing report. Police is of the opinion that the skeleton will be one and a half year old.
