The training period is of three months during which the trainees receive a stipend other than free hostel facility.

Besides classroom lectures, focus is given on practical training to develop self-confidence in the trainees and prepare them for the competitive market.

This is also advantageous for the employers, who can now hire skilled manpower.

In the hospitality sector, quite a good number of the trainees have been absorbed into various star category hotels and food and beverage chains.

“I did three months training in hospitality from the IL & FS institute. I gave an interview for a job in a 3 star hotel based in Bangalore and have been selected,” said Salim Mia, a trainee.
