Skill development training centre for empowering women

Silchar, Aug 6: Aastha Foundation Skill Development Training Centre in collaboration with Bhuvan View Club for ?Empowering Women was iugurated by Parimal Shuklabaidya, Minister of PWD, Excise and Fishery, at Kalyanpur GP, Darmikhal, Dholai, recently.  A number of skill development courses will be taught in these centres, which comprise readymade garment making and embroidery. Among others who were present on the occasion included Arb Chakraborty, founder and secretary, Aastha Foundation, Bipul Shuklabaidya, GP President, Rupam Saha, BJP District general secretary, Utpal Sankar Roy and Joytosh Roy.

 Parimal Shuklabaidya has appreciated the efforts taken by Aastha Foundation and Bhuvan View Club members. He also emphasized on the importance of various central government schemes and Act East Policy taken by Prime Minister rendra Modi along with schemes like Skill India, Digital India, Make in India. Such schemes will add up to the country’s progress and contribute towards the development of Assam immensely in the days to come. Parimal Shuklabaidya stressed on the fact that the present government in the state under the efficient leadership of Sarbanda Sonowal will take all possible steps for the overall development of the State.

 Aastha Foundation was established in 2013 and since its inception has been working for imparting Entrepreneurship and Skill development training programme in Assam. The candidates undergoing the training programme will be provided certificates from tiol Institute for Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development (NIESBUD) an institute under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
