Skill development training underway at Dibang Valley

Itanagar, May 8: A two-week-long skill development training in tailoring, organized under the Border Area Development Programme (BADP) for the youth of Hunli and Desali blocks in Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh, kick started on Monday.

Supported by the Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, the skill training has been organized by AMYAA (NGO) in collaboration with the Department of Textile & Handicraft. The training was inaugurated by Assistant Director (Textile & Handicraft) Aprang Pertin in the presence of the secretary of AMYAA RK Paul Chawang, other officers and 40 trainees, an official release stated on Tuesday.
