Skill training centre inaugurated

DHEKIAJULI, May 2: A training centre of Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) under the State government was inaugurated in Dhekiajuli town on Wednesday.  This training centre under Sonitpur Dhatri Sewa Samity will provide free skill training to 120 educated  unemployed youth of the  locality. The ASDM training centre was inaugurated by Ramesh Borah, noted educationist, social worker and former head master of Dhekiajuli Boys’ High School on Wednesday. For this purpose, a meeting was held under the presidentship of Ramesh Borah. Addressing the gathering, Borah said that free training initiative to the unemployed youth of the society would boost self-employment opportunities for youths.

Tapan Sen Gupta, the Principal of the ASDM Training Centre , Sonitpur  Dhatri Sewa Samity, explained  the purpose of the meeting.
