SLSC approves PMKSY fund in Aruchal

Itagar, June 4: The annual fund requirement on watershed development for 2016-17 under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yoja (PMKSY) was unimously approved at the first State Level Sanctioning Committee (SLSC) meeting held under the chairmanship of chief secretary Shakuntala Doley Gamlin here yesterday.

During the meeting, the SLSC resolved on the decision to make all the payment through Public Fince Magement System (PFMS) at various levels including the wages payment besides updates of all the web based application like Magement Information System (MIS), Process Magement System (PMS) and E-DPR regularly without any further delay, an official communiqué informed.

The committee further decided to initiate suitable action against the defaulters.

To review on progress of project implementation under PMKSY (Watershed development), the committee called for holding of review meeting with the DCs cum CEO watershed cell cum data center (WCDC) and project director cum project mager, district rural development agency (DRDA) of all the concerned districts quarterly.

In a power point presentation, the State Level Nodal Agency (SL), technical expert Minmar Ronya highlighted on the state prospective and strategy plan for the fincial year 2016-17 and on the physical & fincial progress before filly placing the projected Annual Fund Requirement for 2016-17 before the sanctioning committee for approval.

Earlier, RD commissioner cum SL chairman, Indra Mallo in brief appraised the committee on implementation of PMKSY, the communiqué added.
