Smart card facility launched at Morigaon

Morigaon, July 8: The Morigaon District Transport Office on Thursday launched the smart card and high security registration plate (HSRP) facility at its office premises.  Morigaon SP Nilesh Savarkar iugurated the facility in a well attended function.  On the other hand, under the initiative of Arun Bora, DTO, Morigaon, ADC Pranjit Gogoi iugurated the HSRP. The department will now provide driving licence and registration card in the form of smart card. On the other hand, this facility will also be available to those driving licence holders who want to convert their licences into smart cards. The meeting was attended by Dibyajyoti Bora, enforcement officer; Utpal Gogoi, vehicle inspector; Rupkisor Handique, Additiol SP among few others.
