Smita Deb makes it big by winning Mrs Royal India Universe

Silchar, June 4: Smita Deb from Silchar has made it big by winning the covetous and prestigious title of ‘I Am Me Mrs Royal India Universe’ 2018 recently which was held at Gurgaon in New Delhi. It was indeed a special moment for Smita as it was her maiden national level pageant. She is the daughter of Sudarshan Deb and Jayanti Deb and wife of an IPS police officer Anurag Agarwal.

The multi talented Smita is the founder and owner of Styling City Unisex Studio in Silchar. She pursued her Ph. D degree from Assam University. Smita made it big by winning the title of ‘Miss South Assam’ and 2nd runner up in 2002. Smita has worked with Delhi Doordarshan and Lok Sabha TV channel. Currently she is working as an assistant professor in the Department of Journalism at Science College in Kokrajhar.
