Smuggled crude oil recovered

Joysagar, Dec 27: Sivasagar Police led by ASP Bolin Deori, during an operation conducted on Tuesday night, recovered about 1,000 litres of smuggled crude oil from Hahchara area under Cherakapara PS of Sivasagar town which was kept hidden by some crude oil and iron smugglers.  The crude oil belonging to ONGCL was smuggled by some miscreants led by one Diganta Chetia (30 of Cherakapara village under Sivasagar PS. The gang of thieves was able to escape from the police, sources revealed.
