SNSBH welcomes KHADC’s decision

SHILLONG, Feb 16: The Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong Ka Bri u HynniewTrep (SNSBH) today welcomed the decision of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) to file a Special Leave Appeal before the Supreme Court with regard to the ruling of the High Court of Meghalaya dated 10.12.2014 and 13.01.2016 respectively.The SNSBH in a statement said that they whole heartedly welcomes the ruling of the Supreme Court of India dated 12.06.2016 which restores the Powers and functions of the Traditiol Dorbar and the Traditiol Headmen in the state as per rules and laws framed by the District Council under the 6th Scheduled to the Constitution.
