GUWAHATI, March 5: Special Olympics Bharat (SOB) conducted the ‘Khelo India’ Programme for Disability at the Sarusajai Stadium recently. Rajib Prakash Baruah, the Director of Information and Public Relation iugurated the programme where the participants from Assam, Aruchal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram and Meghalaya took part in different disciplines which included race, shotput, soft Ball and Football. There were also two unified events of football and relay race and the unified partners were the students from St Stephens school. Pradip Nunisa, the secretary of the Assam Athletic Association attended the closing function and also distributed the prizes.
