Social activist passes away

GAURISAGAR, March 2 : Sebiram Boarh, noted social and cultural activist  and a resident of Chintamonigarh village in Jorhat district passed away on Wednesday due to old age ailments. He was 87. He was the owner of the Chintamonigarh ASTC terminus premises established in 1986. This act of the late Borah greatly promoted the communication facilities in the area. He was also the founder of Chintamoni High school, Chintamonigarh Kala Krishti Bikash Kendra and Chintamonigarh Sankari Bikash Sangha. His demise has been widely mourned in the locality and the nearby areas. Various organizations  like Chintamonigarh Bibasayee Santha, Chintamonigarh primary unit of the AASU, Simaluguri regiol unit of the AASU, Jorhat district committee of the AASU, Chintamoni High School students and teachers among others have condoled his death. He leaves behind his wife, two sons and a daughter.
