Social-educational project to be set up

GOLAGHAT, May 24: The Morangi Press Club (MPC) organized a public meeting at Morangi College recently to set up a social-educational project at the land allotted to the press club. The public meeting was held under the presidentship of Tapan Chandra Bordoloi, Principal of Morangi College. The aim and purpose of the meeting was elaborated by Priyandeep Kakoti, secretary of Morangi Press Club. He said that greater Morangi had a glorious history in several sections like the Assam Agitation, oil production, archaeological monuments, possibility of tourism and tea project. The Morangi Press Club has decided to release a book on the history of Morangi, Kakoty said. In this regard, an editorial board was formed. The meeting also took the decision to build a social-educational project in the proposed land of Morangi Press Club.
