Social novel Maya Paribhrami Charai released

Doomdooma, March 18: At a solemn function held at Doomdooma Press Club on Sunday, a social novel Maya Paribhrami Charai written by Gopal Ch Dowerah, retired assistant director, Education (Aruchal Pradesh), was released by Dr Aru Gogoi Baruah, Axam Xahitya Xabha’s Basanti Devi Bordoloi award-winning poetess and retired Vice-Principal, Doomdooma College. 
 Bi Deka, retired Principal, Doomdooma College, lit the ceremonial lamp at the start of the function. The meeting which anchored by litterateur Sarat Ch Chiring Phukan and was addressed by jourlists Arjun Baruah, Dhiren Deka, Paban Dutta and Abhijit Khataniar among others. Basanta Handique presented a song written by ba Kanta Baruah befitting the occasion while Dr Binita Dowerah, daughter of writer and Head of the Department of English, N R Government College, Deomali (AP) offered the vote of thanks.
