Social worker Biy Das passes way

HOWRAGHAT, August 9: Veteran social worker Dr Biy Das breathed his last at his residence situated at Howraghat Debasthan bazaar on Saturday night.

People and close associates rushed to his residence to pay tribute to the departed social worker. Dr Das died due to heatstroke. People of the entire Howraghat area have mourned deeply his demise.

A peaceful procession was taken out from his residence to Howraghat town. The Howraghat Debasthan bazaar observed half-day market bandh as a mark of respect to the veteran social worker. He leaves behind his wife, two sons and one daughter.
