Social worker Motilal Sarkar passes away

Lakhimpur, Nov  8: Renowned social worker and educationist of Lakhimpur,  Motilal Sarkar passed away on Saturday. Sarkar worked as an employee of Azad Bahpati Higher Secondary School, following which he dedicated himself to establish Laluk College and assumed the role of the founder Principal of the college. In addition to his contribution to the field of literature, he was famous for founding the Ramkrish Mission Society in Laluk. As a social worker and founder of Laluk Ramkrish Mission Society, he offered free medical treatment and eye operation to more than 500 people in the Ramkrish Mission Hospital in Itagar. His demise has been widely mourned.
