DONKAMOKAM, Dec 4: Chandra Sangma (54), a popular social worker of the Garo community, former president of KAACS for 9 years, an active political worker and vice-president of West Karbi Anglong BJP ST Morcha, died on Monday at his residence at Bhellapara, West Karbi Anglong. During the past few months he was suffering from kidney ailment. KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang, KAAC chairman Horensing Bey, MLA of Howraghat, Joyram Engleng and MLA Dr Numal Momin and president of All Assam Garo Union, Modhuth Marak have condoled his demise. He will be cremated on Tuesday as per Christian tradition. He leaves behind his wife.
