Social worker passes away

GAURISAGAR,February 21 : Atul th, a social worker of Hatighuli village on the outskirts of Gaurisagar passed away recently. He was 73.

 He did his schooling from Gaurisagar Higher Secondary Industrial Institute and got B.Sc degree from Sibsagar College with distinction marks. He was the first science graduate of Hatighuli village. He served as an Assistant Club Mager in HFC, mrup and got superannuation in 2004.Till death he was the president of Hatighuli Gyanudoy Sahitya Mondir. Besides he was actively associated with various local organizations.

 The Sivasagar Zila Yugi Sanmilan, Sivasagar Zila Gramya Puthibhoral Santha, Gyanudoy Sahitya Mondir, Hatighuli Anchalik Yugi Sanmilan, teachers and staff of Gaurisagar Higher Secondary Industrial Institute have condoled his death.

 th is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives.
