Sociedad beat Bilbao 3-1

San Sebastian, April 29: Real Sociedad beat Athletic Bilbao 3-1 in the 35th round of the Spanish La Liga.

Real Sociedad’s victory on Saturday was mainly aided by two own goals from Bilbao centre-back Mikel San Jose, in the 14th and 53rd minutes, reports Efe. In the 36th minute, after the defender’s first unfortunate mistake, Sociedad forward Mikel Oyarzabal managed to score the second goal with a left-footed shot from the center of the box off a pass from Adnan Januzaj.

Bilbao’s only goal was scored by midfielder Raul Garcia with a penalty shot in the 58th minute. IANS
