South West Garo Hills draw up innovative events to mark tiol Voters' Day

SHILLONG, Jan 20: The District Administration and District Election Office of South West Garo Hills has drawn up innovative programmes and events in the run up to the tiol Voters’ Day celebration in the district, beginning from January 21 and culmiting with the main celebration on January 25. The celebrations at the district level will begin with Inter-locality football tourment on the theme “Shun the violence, shun the gun; Lets join in the democracy and football fun” at Bandalko U.P School Playground near Ampati on January 21 where eight teams are participating in the tourment.
