Special Olympic Bharat, Assam chapter executive director unhappy

GUWAHATI, March 31: A section of the Special Olympic Bharat, Assam chapter was unhappy over the attitude of the few key members of the organization. They even wrote a letter to the member and area Director of the organization with a request to reconsider the venue of the meeting of the Special Olympics Bharat, Assam Chapter which is scheduled to be held tomorrow. The meeting will discuss on the tiol Coaching Camp to be held in May this year.

Arman Ali, the executive director of the organization, in a letter to Dr. Anja Goswami, Member & Area Director, alleged, "I was only informed today about tomorrow's meeting. I would like to point here that I took my responsibility as an Executive Member of the Special Olympics very seriously, as sports is a right of all disabled persons. But, being informed of an important meeting at the eleventh hour, and the venue which is iccessible for wheel chair users clearly reflects the lackadaisical attitude of the organizers of the meeting."
