Spectacular rally marks centenary celebration of school

Haflong, April 20: As a part of three-day closing ceremony of the year-long centenary celebration of St Agnes Convent, a spectacular rally was organized where in hundreds of alumni and present students took part on Thursday. The rally was taken out from the St Agnes Convent High School premises and marched through the major parts of Haflong town up to Council Rotary and converged at Convent School. The three-day centenary celebration of St Agnes Convent High School, Haflong began on Wednesday with the inauguration of events in presence of Superior General, Sister Josephine Kane, as the guest of excellence, Dr Mridul Hazarika, Vice-Chancellor of Gauhati University as chief guest while Rev Bishop Paul Mattekatt DD (Bishop of Diphu) was the guest of distinction.
