SpiceJet to run additiol flights for stranded passengers

New Delhi, Feb 20: Budget airline SpiceJet on Saturday said it is doing its bit to help people stranded because of the Jat agitation for reservation in Harya with additiol flights.

“We have initiated operation of additiol commercial flights on the Delhi-Amritsar and Delhi-Chandigarh routes for today (Saturday) to evacuate the stranded passengers while also providing a feasible mode of transport to the others as a matter of caution,” said an airline statement.

Life was hit in Harya as major intersections, roadways and railways in Harya were blocked.

“In this unfortute hour we at SpiceJet extend our bid in facilitating those thousands of harrowed commuters,” said SpiceJet, adding it remain committed until normalcy returns. (IANS)
