HOWRAGHAT, March 20: A sports magazine was released today at Diphu Teachers’ Colony by Karbi Anglong Referee Welfare Society with the support of Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA).
The sports magazine was dedicated in memory of veteran footballer late Promod rayan Sum. The magazine was officially released by Pratima Sum, wife of late Promod rayan Sum, in presence of Bidya Sing Engleng, local MLA, Rongbong Terang, ex-president of Axom Xahitya Xabha, Gaonbura Timung, secretary, Karbi Anglong Referee Welfare Society and many distinguished guests. The guests felt that the sports magazine will benefit and encourage upcoming players of the district.
