SSA District Mission Coorditor accused of bribery

GAON, March 25: District Mission Coorditor, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA), gaon and also Additiol Deputy Commissioner, Puravi Kunwar allegedly harassed some primary school teachers by asking a lot of bribe for PEB structures fitted in their newly-built school buildings with SSA fund and even threatened to send them to jail. However, Puravi Kunwar has alleged that the school teachers fitted PEB structures in their schools without following the guidelines issued by the State Mission Director Office and procured materials from uuthorized distributors.

Kunwar had issued a show cause notice via SSA/NGN/CW/PEB/12-13/34/1212 DTD13/3/2015 to the teachers and demanded a reply within three days. In reply of that show cause notice, the teachers refuted the allegation and in their reply on 23.3.2015 to the District Mission Coorditor, claimed that they had fitted PEB structures in their schools from a genuine registered enterprise, mely M/S Shahin Enterprise, and it was done as per the decision taken by the respective school magement committees.
