SSB jawan commits suicide

Tezpur, April 16: An SSB jawan committed suicide with his service gun on Monday morning at SSB headquarters, Devendra Nagar Camp under Barghat Police Station in Sonitpur district. The jawan identified as Daljeet Sarmah (42) was engaged in the security of the camp. Nilutpal Bhuyan, IC, Barghat Police Station said that the body was sent to Tezpur Kanakalata Civil Hospital for post mortem.  Bhuyan further added that the reason behind the incident is yet to come to light.
