SSB observes Road Safety Week in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, May 23: Road Safety Week is being observed with effect from Monday to May 28 at the initiative of 16th Bn.SSB at its headquarter, Ranighuli.

The troops were briefed by AKC Singh, Commandant 16th Bn.SSB, about the do’s and don’ts while driving. Power-point presentation was also shown to the troops where they were made aware about the traffic rules and regulations, traffic sigls and symbols. Various videos were also projected for the troops to enhance their knowledge and awareness on road safety. The 16th Bn. SSB has also approached traffic police of Kokrajhar for conducting and delivering lectures on safety week for the troops in coming days. During the programme AKC Singh emphasized the importance of road safety and dissemition of information about road safety among the border people and motor vehicle users, especially youths and personnel.
