SSB organizes animal vaccition camp in Indo-Bhutan border

KOKRAJHAR, May 1: A fertility camp under the NPCBB (ALDA), Phase-II extended was organized by the district Animal Husbandry and Veteriry, Kokrajhar in collaboration with the 16th Bn. SSB, Ranighuli at Saralpara BOP along Indo-Bhutan border on Tuesday. Sources from the SSB said in the camp a total of 440 animals were vaccited and 795 animals were treated for various diseases. A calf rally was also organized and the best calf borne out of artificial insemition was given cash award. The camp was performed by Dr. Girendra th Sen, Veteriry Officer, Kokrajhar Veteriry Hospital, Dr. Bhanu Rani Kochary, Veteriry Officer, Head Quarter, ICDP, Dr. N. Memcha Devi AC, Assistant Commandant of 16th Bn. SSB, Ranighuli, Kokrajhar  and Dr. V. Saha, Deputy Commandant, sector head quarter of SSB, Kokrajhar and staffs of state veteriry hospital and SSB veteriry staff.
