State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora visits Athkheliya amghar

Golaghat, June 6: State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora on Monday went to his home town Golaghat and visited Sri Sri Athkheliya amghar.
Atul Bora offered xarai at Sri Sri Athkheliya amghar and performed other rituals and prayers at the holy shrine. The new agriculture minister told media persons that in Assam farmers were still dependent on ture and modern agricultural methods were yet to gain popularity among the farmers.
He assured that he would take steps for the uplift of the farmers and his top priority would be to make the farmers class one citizens. On the other hand, in the evening a felicitation ceremony was held at the Amateur Theatre Society Auditorium where the new agriculture minister was given a warm felicitation. The felicitation ceremony was organized by the AGP Golaghat District Committee where various organizations felicitated Atul Bora and the newly-elected MLA of Dergaon constituency, Bhaben Bharali.
