State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worried over Togadia’s Assam visit

STAFF REPORTER

GUWAHATI, July 14: The state BJP seems fishing in troubled water, as they are worried and eventually creating hindrance to the proposed arrival of Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad supreme Pravin Togadia in Guwahati. Togadia is coming to address the members of his now outfit in the city on July 18 and 19. After being sidelined from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), the right-wing stalwart, Togadia launched the new outfit, Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP).

In a communiqué, the Assam Pradesh unit of the AHP alleged that the RSS has provoked Dispur to obstruct Togadia’s visit to the State and said, “By obstructing his visit to deliver a scheduled programme on July 18, the State government is playing a fascist’s role.”
