State Fince department's directives on passing bills

Guwahati, April 4: The Fince (Budget) Department has directed all Deputy Commissioners and Sub-Divisiol Officers to instruct the respective Treasury Officers to receive and pass the following bills and cheques and send to the Bank for payment if found in order: claims for drawal of salary/ wages/ work-charged and master roll payment/ grants-in-aid bills for payment of salary without budget allocation for the month of March, 2015. This is subject to adjustment from budget allotment of 2015-16. In addition to this, the Deputy Commissioners and Sub-Divisiol Officers are directed to instruct the respective Treasury Officers to pass the claims for drawal of GPF and pensiory benefits; claims submitted by the Authorities of Autonomous Councils for payment of salary/ wages/ work-charged and master roll payment/ grants-in-aid bills for payment of salary for the month of March, 2015 subject to adjustment from their PL Accounts as and when accumulated. It may be noted that no arrears should be paid.   It may be noted that the budget for the fincial year 2015-16 has been passed by the Assembly.
