‘State government neglecting 5 lakh employees’

GAURISAGAR, June 26: The present State government has been neglecting 5 lakh employees of Assam. If it continues neglecting these employees, it will face the consequence in the days to come. This was stated by Nogen Nath, former secretary and present adviser of Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) while speaking as a distinguished guest in the open session of two-day long 26th annual conference of Sivasagar Zila Karmachari Parishad and biennial conference of Amguri Anchalik Karmachari Parishad held at Amguri Rajahuwa Bhavan, which concluded on Sunday.

He also stated that though the government had changed in the Assam, but problems remained the same. He also added that 41,000 employees of the State were working day and night for NRC update, preparation of voters’ list and other sensitive works but the government was yet to address their grievances.
