State ready for de-worming programme

Itagar, Feb 9: Aruchal Pradesh is all prepared for the February 10 ‘tiol De-worming Day’ – a programme launched by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to treat children with parasite worms. Semir and workshops are being conducted by the authorities concerned at state, district, and even at block levels for the officials, Anganwadi Workers, helpers and all the stakeholders to be involved during the campaign for meaningful implementation the de-worming programme. A sensitization programme was conducted at the Semir Hall of Tomo Riba State Hospital, harlagun today wherein representatives from various health centres, education department, ICDS and NGOs attended the training.
