Stolen bike recovered

KALAIGAON, January 4: A team of Kalaigaon Police under the initiative of Sub-Inspector Dhiren Borah recovered a stolen bike from Tangla town on Sunday evening. The bike was stolen from Kalaigaon weekly market area on December 13. The owner of this stolen bike is Tapan Das, a resident of village Bhehguri. Sub-Inspector Dhiren Borah told media persons that the stolen bike bearing registration number AS-13B 5591 was recovered on Sunday evening and two bike lifters were also caught from Tangla. They were identified as Dhanjyoti Deka , son of Gajen Deka, and Rajkumar Barman, son of Nripen Barman. Kalaigaon police sent the bike lifters to Udalguri Jail under section 379 IPC according to case no. 239/15.
