DULIAJAN, APRIL 4: OIL Security and Duliajan police in a joint operation on Saturday morning seized many pieces of iron pipes and iron sheets in a truck near ASEB, Duliajan and arrested two persons in this connection. The arrested persons have been identified as Mukunda Hazarika (30) and Ganesh Basubhar (18), both residents of Chalakataki Village under Duliajan Police station. A truck (AS23-A-2327) was also seized. According to sources, the arrested persons were carrying iron pipes and sheets stolen from OIL in the truck from harkatia Raanggoli Pather to Duliajan. The value of the iron pipes and sheets is around Rs 7 lakh.
