Storm lashes Jhanji

GAURISAGAR, June 9:. Thunderstorm  lashed Jhanji Khatuwal village under Amguri revenue circle in Sivasagar district on Thursday night and caused severe damage.  The house of late Lukth Dutta of Jhanji Khatuwal village were damaged badly and trees were uprooted in the massive storm. The house of Atul Dutta and Anitya Gayan of the said village were also damaged. Electric poles were also uprooted at Charing area disrupting power supply.
