Street play staged to spread awareness among voters

Bokajan, February 22: Ahead of the assembly elections, a street play was staged on Monday at Balipathar locality under 17 Bokajan legislative assembly constituency aimed at creating awareness among the people about elections and voters’ rights. The awareness campaign was organized as part of ‘Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation’ (SVEEP), conducted under the aegis of the Election Commission. The campaign is also aimed at urging voters not to fall prey to alcohol offers, cash or any other enticements from the candidates.
