Stringent punishment demanded

Itagar, March 23: Aruchal Pradesh Congress Seva Dal (APCSD) has demanded for appropriate punishment to those involved in the APPSCCE question paper leak incident stating that it has jeopardized careers of many aspirants. Commending the state police and SIT for arresting five persons allegedly involved in the incident, APCSD Chief Organizer Kipa Kaha urged the authority concerned to ensure exemplary punishment for the perpetrators of the scam as they have no rights to play with the future of the aspirants. Aruchal Civil Society (ACS) has demanded termition of all the five alleged accused involved in the infamous APPSC (main) Paper leak incident from the Commission permanently. A stringent punishment like termition will not only send a strong message to other corrupt officials but also act as deterrent to corruption activities, said ACS Chairman Patey Tayum while commending SIT for the arrests. Meanwhile, condemning the Aruchal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examition 2014 Mains GS Paper-II leakage issue, All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) today urged the authority to strictly deal with arrested officers who are allegedly involved in high-profile case. In a press statement ANYA President Biri Kakum appealed to the authority to take case seriously so that such incident does not recur in future. It also stated that authority should not entertain the erring officers in hospital as they are indirectly evading from confinement. All the accused should be punished as per established law, ANYA added. Meanwhile it also requested the government to provide relief to the fire victims of Daporijo.
