Strive for people oriented work culture: Rajkhowa

ITAGAR, Feb 6: A meeting was convened on Friday by Aruchal Pradesh Governor J P Rajkhowa to listen to the grievances of government employees represented by Confederation of Service Association of Aruchal Pradesh (CoSAAP).

The meeting was attended by advisors B D Sharma and G S Patik, Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi, Principal Secretary (Fince) Satya Gopal, Commissioner (GA) Hage Kojeen, Sr Alyst (Administrative Reform Department) Mari Angu, Director Planning M Bida and Secretary to Governor Dr Joram Beda, an official release informed here today.

It was decided in the meeting that a committee under the Chairmanship of Principal Secretary (Home) would be constituted to look into the grievances raised by CoSAAP.

Secretary Fince, Secretary Planning and Secretary Persol would be members of the Committee which would meet in three days time and as many times as may be necessary.

The committee would also hold hearings where members of CoSAAP could place the grievance and discuss the solutions, the release said.

As requested by CoSAAP, it was decided that non-tribal government staff would be exempted from the mandatory NoC with regards to land encroachment for promotion and retirement but they would have to submit affidavit to this effect that there has been no land encroachment on their part.

During the meeting, the governor reiterated that salary for SSA teacher should be paid regularly. He also directed Chief Secretary to ensure regular payment of salaries to staff in delinked project until the government figures out a reasoble solution for their employment.
