Student drowns

Morigaon, April 29: Rimpi Hira, a student of class seven of Morigaon MV School today drowned in a newly digging pond at ward no. 2 here. The student went for collecting ba leaf near the pond at noon but suddenly she fell into the water. She shouted for help but she had died before the local people arrived at the spot.
