Student feared drowned in o-Dihing

Itagar, June 16: A student Chow Pomseng Khamhoo is feared drowned under mysterious circumstances in river o-Dihing on June 14 last.  However, the body of the 24 year old is yet to be located. The parents has demanded thorough probe of the incident and lodged complaint in Mahadevpur Police Station as the boy was last seen in Subhas dhaba along NH 52 where his friends say that he was assaulted in a scuffle. Later, Mahadevpur Police arrested the man running the dhaba and immediately launched search operation for the missing boy while the district administration has requested NDRF for help. Meanwhile, All msai Area Youth Association has urged the district administration to ban those dhabas reportedly selling prohibited intoxicated items.
