Student killed in road mishap

MARGHERITA, February 8: Abhijit Deb, a HS student of Margherita College, died on the spot at mdang near Bibi Mazhar under Margherita Police Station on Monday when his motorcycle hit a dumper truck. Abhijit Deb and two other students - Changon Singpho and Shyam Pradhan - were riding a motorcycle which hit a dumper truck bearing registration number NL O-K 8328. Abhijit died on the spot while Changon Singpho and Shyam Pradhan were seriously injured and immediately admitted to the hospital.
