Itagar, April 9: Members of the All Kamle District Students’ Union along with Raga MLA Tamar Murtem called on Deputy Chief Minister Chow Mein here on Sunday and urged him to allocate fund for the maintence of the Ziro-Daporijo stretch of the Trans-Aruchal Highway project. The visit to the Deputy Chief Minister came in the wake of the expiry of the ultimatum the union had earlier served to the State government in the matter. The union claimed in a press release that the Deputy Chief Minister had assured them of sanctioning fund for the maintence of the road.
