Study tour for students of remote areas

KOKRAHAR, April 29: The study tour for the students of border areas of Kokrajhar and Chirang districts arranged by the 16 Bn SSB has reached New Delhi and started touring in the historic places of Delhi. This was informed by the guide of the SSB.

The students visited the Red Fort, Fathepur Sikhiri, Lotus Temple, Parliament House, India Gate, Taj Mahal in Agra and other important places. The unique and initiative programme was organized by the 16 Bn SSB of Ranighuli, Kokrajhar for the development of students of remote areas, especially from across the border of Bhutan who cannot afford such tour and to make aware them about their country’s historical connection and the cultural aspect. The party is likely to return to Kokrajhar on April 30.
