SUCI meet in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, April 25: On the occasion of the 67th foundation day of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist), a public meeting is held at District Library Auditorium, Guwahati recently under the presidentship of Comrade Chandralekha Das, Secretary of the Assam State Committee of the party, stated a press release.

At the outset a cassette comprising the speech of great leader of the proletariat Comrade Shivdas Ghosh  was played. Comrade Asit Bhattacharyya, the member of the polit bureau of the party and an eminent mass leader was the main speaker of the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, the Bhattacharyya, besides explaining the disastrous explosive economic, political, social cultural conditions of the country, also dealt with the very explosive condition of Assam marked with extreme divisiveness, commulism, separatist and secessionist tendencies, complete absence of left and democratic movement as a result of which people of Assam having different religion, faiths, language, race, cast and creed are at war path to day, better to speak wholly engages in inter racial conflicts and clashes and bloodshed being daily occurrences.
