Supriya gets cash incentives

GUWAHATI, May 18: Sai Vikash Educatiol Institutie, in collaboration with Batikram Masdo, today felicitated Assam Kho-kho player Supriya Gogoi who won gold medal in the recently concluded SAF Games. Gogoi also received cash incentive of Rs 50,000 in the function which was organized as a part of young achiever awards of the institution. Supriya, who belongs to a economically weaker family from Tengakhat, is struggling to get necessary fund to pursue her career in sports as well as education. Sai Vikash Educatiol Institute, which received the news from the local news paper, has come forward to help Supriya so that she can fulfill her dream. PS Reddy, the secretary of the Sai Vikash Educatiol Insititute, today also announced that they will hand over another Rs 50,000 to Supriya next year. Apart from Supriya, the other who were felicitated are Simran Kalita, Kanka Kaveri Pathak, Subham Choudhury, Akansha Singha Roy and Prajn Jyoti Bharadwaj. Some of them also received cash award from this institution.
