Surajita Hazarika is new DTO of Dibrugarh district

Dibrugarh, Feb 20:  Surajita Hazarika took charge as DTO in Dibrugarh district on Monday from outgoing DTO Sayed Rafiqul Mann.

At a meeting attended by DTO Hazarika, the staff and employees of the DTO office and representatives of several groups and organizations bid farewell to Mann and gave a warm welcome to Hazarika.

S R Mann, during his three-and-half years service as DTO here, had brought the department from clutter to track with his sincere efforts and administrative acumen and of course,  with the help of the district civil and police administration, an act which received kudos and acclamation from different quarters. Mann will take charge as DTO in Tinsukia district.

Meanwhile, in another reshuffle in police administration here, the Additiol Superintendent of Police (Border) in Sivasagar,  Nityaranjan Chutiya has taken over as the new ASP (Security) here while Additiol Superintendent of Police, Surjit Singh Panesar   from now on will look after the office of ASP Dibrugarh.
