Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment Yojana Inaugurated in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: Along with other districts of Assam, Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment (SVAYEM) Yojana was inaugurated in Dibrugarh also on Thursday. The event was held at the District Library under the aegis of District Industries and Commerce Centre. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the youths of the State to take up income generating activities in the manufacturing, trading and service sector. Speaking at the event, MLA of Dibrugarh, Prashanta Phukan praised the scheme and urged the prospective and current beneficiaries of the scheme (micro and small business entities) to rise to the expectations and go about it in a planned manner.
