GUWAHATI, April 18: Satragram Youth Club (SYC) clinched the first All-Assam Bishnuriya Manipuri (BM) Volleyball Trophy defeating TBC Saipargaon at a closely-contested match at Mohanpur in Cachar recently. The tourment was organized by the Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Yuva Parishad (NBMYP). According NBMYP sports secretary Dev Kumar Sinha, while Gourango Sinha of TBC was adjudged the best player of the tourment, Ashok Sinha was adjudged as the best player of the fil match. The winner received Rs 30,000 in cash besides the trophy from NBMYP president rendra Sinha while the runners-up bagged Rs 20,000 and a trophy from social worker Manobendra Sinha.
